| RTR O Gauge locomotives. |
Built by Birmingham Railway carriage and Wagon Company between 1960 and 1962, the Class 33 locomotives are often refered to as Cromptons. Originally refered to as Type 3's, these locomotives were originally numbered in the D6500 series and were later re-numbered into 33001 in January 1974. Sixty five locomotives were built in the 33/0 Class with a further nineteen Class 33/1 and twelve 33/2. The ten new editions of Heljan's popular Gauge O Class 33, featuring updated and modified tooling to create both 1960s to 1980s and late BR / early privatisation era versions with high-intensity headlights and cab radio roof pods. We have now bought all remaining stocks of the Class 33 prior to the price increase so we can maintain the discounted price. Most are un-numbered allowing the customer to easily complete the locomotive with a number of his own choice. Now in stock. |
