| RTR O Gauge locomotives.
When Heljan first annouced they were planning to produce 'O' gauge ready-to-run fully finished locomotives we were at first a little dubious. Virtually nothing had been produced with plastic bodies for the British market since Triang Big-Big in the 70's. The company had no experience of 'O' gauge gauge and were only recent new-comers to the 'OO' British market. This is an expensive venture for Heljan and they are very brave to lead the field. If the modellers want to see more ready-to-run plastic bodied locomotives it is up to them to make Heljan's first efforts a success.
