K322A BR Class 31 Brush Type 2 Diesel A1A-A1A.
new kit from DJH has been long requested by our customers and covers
one of the most successful British diesel designs.
'Brush' Type 2, later BR Classes 30 and 31, were very popular and long.
First introduced in 1957, 267 were eventually built, of which 190 were
still running at the beginning of 1990. Kit covers loco's fitted with
'Four position' roof mounted Headcode Boxes, with optional parts to cover
all periods (as built to present condition) Kit features: Cast, high quality,
three-piece'tin' alloy body, water/fuel tanks, battery boxes, bogie sideframes
and brakes. Etched brass/nickel silver roof panels (preformed), fans and
engine grill covers, window beadings, bogie chassis x 2 including axle
bushes. Includes lost wax brass buffer heads (sprung), steam heating and
air hoses, windscreen wipers and fine detailing parts. Also flushglaze
windows, cab detail and full exploded diagrams and assembly instructions.
The kit does not include: Motor, gears, pick-ups or wheels. An optional
working lighting kit also produced by DJH as a separate item. All these
extras we can supply though.
