Latest addition to the Bachmann Brassworks range of ready to run locomotives is an L.M.S. / B.R. Black Five 4-6-0 available with either a riveted or welded tender. The first batch produced will represent the early short firebox Black Five. The locomotive is supplied factory painted black with a red buffers beam. The recommended price is £1200.00 but Tower Models are offering the Black Five at just £950.00. Example of a BR early crest Black Five finished in our own workshops. We have also extended our painting service to include the Bachmann gauge 1 Black 5. This service fully finished the locmotive including lining, glazing, lettering and numbering along with the plates required to finish it off. This service costs an additional £250.00 for a clean finished locomotive or £300.00 weathered.
